● FAQ

Questions, answered.

The things people most often ask before bringing a proactive home into their lives.

What is it, in one line?

A proactive smart home: an agent that runs on hardware in your home and handles lighting, safety and daily routines on its own — instead of waiting for you to tap an app.

Do I need to be technical?

No. We design, install, tune and support the whole system. You get a simple app and a voice; the technical layer is our job, not yours.

Does it keep working without internet?

Yes. The brain runs locally on hardware in your home, so lighting, safety reflexes and routines keep working during an internet outage — exactly when you most need them to.

Is my data private?

Your home's data stays in your home. The system is local-first with no cloud lock-in, access is gated behind per-resident logins over an encrypted link, and rental units are isolated from the main house by design.

What about gas and water safety?

Once the sensors are installed, continuous reflexes act automatically — closing a gas valve, shutting a tank inlet, cutting power to a leak — and then alert you, rather than only sending a notification and hoping someone sees it in time.

What devices and brands does it use?

Open standards — Zigbee and Wi-Fi devices coordinated through a local Home Assistant hub. No single-vendor lock-in, so you're never trapped in one company's ecosystem or cloud.

Does it handle multiple floors or rental units?

Yes. It's built for whole-home, multi-floor and multi-unit setups, with per-resident routines and strict, enforced data isolation between a rented portion and the main house.

What does it cost?

It depends on your home's size and device count. We scope it with you and recommend a package — request a quote and we'll work it out together.

How long does installation take?

It varies with the size of the home and the package. We map your home first, then schedule the install and tuning around you.

Is it available now?

We're onboarding our first homes. The software platform is built and tested today — reach out and we'll talk through your home and timeline.
